1 case of apple slices for local pick up is $67.50. There are approx. 16 servings per container (16 cups). 
This is kind of a big ticket item, at $11.25/can - but these are so versatile. They can be a sweet (healthy) treat, eaten straight out of the can, or they can be re-hydrated, cooked (applesauce!) or baked (pies!) into amazing recipes!
This is on the Items of the Month order form handed out at church - where you write me a check and I go buy it for you and deliver it to your home!

Also, add to your 72 HOUR KIT (if you haven't already):
Personal Hygiene Kit:travel size shampoo, bar of soap, chapstick, lotion, razor, comb, brush, nail clipper, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, handy wipes, hand sanitizer, 1 roll of toilet paper, small package of tissues, feminine items, place all items in a gallon zip lock bag.

FAMILY PREPAREDNESS:

Do you have a means for communication during a power outage? Make sure you have a corded phone (if you still have a landline.) Cordless phones don't work when the power is off. Don't have a landline? Do you have walkie-talkies? Do you keep them charged? Do you have a HAM radio? Are you certified to use it? Click for more information on how to get your Amateur Radio License.
